THE IDEA

Power without the learning curve.

Set the rhythm with host sync or tap timing. Shape the repeats with Drive, filters, Wow and Flutter, then open MOD FX to explore the wet echoes. Duck keeps the incoming phrase in front; A/B/C and presets keep the good accidents close.

WHAT IT GIVES YOU

Fast on top.
Deep underneath.

01

Three heads. Two characters.

Combine echo heads at one third, two thirds and the full delay time. Choose brighter Tape or darker Analog character, then shape the feedback with New, Worn or Old.

02

A hidden psychedelic drawer.

Chorus, Phaser and Flanger process the wet echoes after Spring. Each amount is independent, and closing MOD FX keeps the sound active.

03

A place for every repeat.

Stereo and Ping Pong, input-driven Duck, Mix and Wet Solo make track inserts and send returns immediate. Explore 60 factory starting points and save your own.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Frequently asked
questions.

Practical answers about echo timing, character, modulation and mixing with Shark Delay.

What is Shark Delay?

Shark Delay is a psychedelic tape echo with three echo heads, Tape and Analog character, and a hidden drawer of Chorus, Phaser and Flanger effects.

How do I set the echo timing?

Use host sync to follow your session tempo, or tap in the timing. The three echo heads provide repeats at one third, two thirds and the full delay time.

What is the difference between Tape and Analog?

Tape gives the repeats a brighter character, while Analog is darker. New, Worn and Old let you further shape the feedback character.

How can I shape the tone and movement of the repeats?

Use Drive and the filters to shape the echo tone, then adjust Wow and Flutter for movement. Start gently and increase the amounts as you listen in the mix.

What does the MOD FX drawer do?

It reveals independent Chorus, Phaser and Flanger amounts. These effects process the wet echoes after Spring. Closing the drawer does not switch the effects off.

How do I keep the echoes from covering the original phrase?

Use Duck to pull the echoes back in response to the incoming signal, then adjust Mix to place them behind the original sound.

Can I use it on a track or an effects return?

Yes. Mix and Wet Solo support track inserts and send returns, while Stereo and Ping Pong let you choose how the echoes move across the stereo field.

Does Shark Delay include presets?

Yes. There are 60 factory starting points, and you can save your own. A/B/C lets you compare different settings while working.
