THE IDEA BEHIND LOUD
Sometimes a sound already has the right character. It just needs to stand up in the mix. Loud brings compression, drive, soft clipping and limiting together under one control, so you can move from a gentle lift to a more forceful sound without balancing a chain of processors.

It coordinates compression, drive, soft clipping and limiting. Higher settings push density and loudness further.
Gain Match compensates for the increase in level. Switch it off when you want to hear Loud’s full volume lift.
Short-term LUFS follows the last three seconds of output. Integrated LUFS measures the programme over time. Double-click the meter to reset it.
